2011 Wellness Show: Catering to your definition

Last Friday, I headed to the Vancouver Convention Centre for the 19th annual Wellness Show for the first time. A big advocate of physical, spiritual, mental, and earth wellness, I expected to have my mind blown away. While the samples alone were worth the admission price, I found myself a bit skeptical about the definition of wellness explained by this event. There was a VERY diverse range of vendors, which I’ll talk about in this blog post.
CHOICES was the Presenting sponsor and had a big presence at the event, right in the centre – they had a great display with some of their highlighted products around.
There were A LOT of other vendors giving out samples. It was a little overwhelming for me, so I only picked and chose select ones. One of them was Deep River Snacks‘ chips. I tried the Twist of Lime tortilla chips – quite amazing, and healthy too. The rep at this booth said that the chips are on their way to CHOICES and IGA, and they hope to make it into all the other grocery stores too.
